01 · Refresh
Refresh

For businesses whose site still does its job, but looks dated or is awkward to use on a phone.
What’s included
- A new look for the site you already have: type, colour, spacing and layout
- Fixes so every page is easy to read and tap on a phone
- A speed and accessibility check, with the main problems fixed

02 · Redesign
Redesign
$5,000–7,500CAD
For businesses that have outgrown their site, or whose customers can’t find what they’re looking for.
What’s included
- A look at what’s working now, so nothing useful gets lost
- A new page structure and menu, planned around what your customers need
- Help rewriting and tidying the words on your key pages
- A new design for phone and desktop, shared as a clickable preview
- Built on [your current platform or a simpler one], [up to 10 pages]
- Redirects from old page addresses, so links and search rankings keep working
- Basic search set-up: page titles, descriptions and your Google Business Profile
- [3 rounds of revisions]

03 · New site
New site
$8,000–12,000CAD
For new businesses, or anyone starting over without a site worth keeping.
What’s included
- A planning session about your business, your customers and your goals
- A page plan, and the words written with you or shaped from your notes
- A custom design for phone and desktop, not an off-the-shelf template
- [Up to 12 pages], a contact form [and booking or menu set-up]
- Built to load fast and work for everyone, tested on real phones
- Domain and launch set up in your name
- Basic search set-up and [privacy-friendly] visitor stats
- [3 rounds of revisions], plus a walkthrough on making updates
The final price depends on the number of pages and features like online booking or ordering. [Timeline: 6–10 weeks.]
04 · Care plan
Care plan
from $100CAD / month
For anyone who’d rather not think about their website after launch. Works for sites I built and [most sites I didn’t].
What’s included
- Software and security updates [every month]
- Regular backups, [stored off-site]
- [Up to 1 hour] of small changes a month: hours, prices, photos, new text
- Uptime monitoring, and I fix it if something breaks
- A [quarterly] check on speed and accessibility
- Cancel any time [with 30 days’ notice]
Bigger jobs, like new pages, are quoted before I start. [Larger plans available for busier sites.]
How payment works
You see the full price and the payment schedule in writing before anything starts.

Deposit and milestones
[50% to start, 50% at launch.] Larger projects can be [split into three payments]. Care plans are billed [monthly].

[Interac e-Transfer or credit card.] Invoices are in Canadian dollars [plus GST].

What costs extra
Hosting [often free, or a few dollars a month], your domain name [about $20–40 a year, paid to the registrar in your name] and professional photography [quoted separately, or I’ll work with your photos]. You’ll know about all of these before you commit.

Yours to keep
You own your domain, your content and the finished site, all in your name. If you ever want to move on, I’ll hand over everything. No lock-in.
Good questions
Do I need to write the words myself?
No. You know your business best, so I’ll ask you questions and turn your answers into clear, plain copy. If you’d rather write it yourself, I’ll edit and shape it. [Writing is included in Redesign and New site.]
Can you work with my existing WordPress, Squarespace or Wix site?
Usually, yes. A refresh or care plan can often stay on the platform you already have. For a redesign, we’ll talk about whether it’s worth staying or moving to something simpler, and I’ll give you an honest answer either way. [Confirm the platforms you support.]
What about hosting?
I’ll recommend hosting that suits your site and set it up in your name, so you never depend on me to keep it running. Many small sites cost [nothing, or a few dollars a month] to host. [If you’d rather I look after it, that’s part of the care plan.]
How long does it take?
Roughly [2–3 weeks] for a refresh, [4–6 weeks] for a redesign and [6–10 weeks] for a new site. The biggest factor is usually how quickly the words and photos come together. You’ll get a real schedule with your quote.
